Labor Day

Today is labor day, and for the most part we have been big time homebodies this weekend. We had every intention of getting out and seeing people, but plans fell through and we've actually enjoyed a great weekend at home together, getting lots of things accomplished!

The question of the day is this?

What do you get when you have over thirty pine trees and gum ball trees on your lot?
The answer is this:




The above pictures are what was on our roof.
And now BT has been out fighting the trees, or what the trees produce. I think it also gives him a chance to play with his toys and climb on the roof, which he really likes. He's been blowing a year's worth of debris off the roof, and cutting the bottoms of our deck railings off to give us an area to blow the debris off our deck.






In addition to all that, we spent the morning sofa shopping (of which i'm still conflicted: what's the best fabric for dogs, cats, allergy sufferers, and kids?--we're leaning towards leather or microfiber, and more towards leather for the allergy aspect).



Overall, a productive labor day!
