I started off the weekend by picking up T from daycare early around 2:30 on Friday to go over to my friend Kerry's to have some girl talk time with her and our friend Taylor, who was in town. While we enjoyed some much-needed catching up, T had some good playtime with Kerry's little boy, Allan. Allan is 31 days older than T, and they have so much 'fun' together. We've taken them on some great walks, and Friday they got to play with all of Allan's toys. Thanks go out to Kerry's mom for playing with the boys while we caught up! How cute are they?
Then last night, we had a great girls' night with some from our pledge class and the pledge class after us. We started the night over at our friend Anna's house for drinks and appetizers, and ended the night with dinner at Village Tavern. I had all intentions of pulling my camera out of my purse to take pictures, but we were having so much fun catching up, I never got around to it. Mad props go out to Ellen, who came for the weekend with her adorable three week old baby boy in tow!
Then today was the actual luncheon celebrating the Centennial. We had a fantastic luncheon at Ross Bridge. The entire luncheon was beautiful, and there was a good three hundred plus people there. It was SO good catching up with folks and seeing everyone. Again, I was not so good with the camera, but here's a picture of a few of us from our pledge class at the luncheon.
Then, tonight, we had some close friend time with just me, Taylor, and Kerry at Mexican. I am so happy all these wonderful friends continue to be such big parts of my life. And even MORE thankful that I have the greatest husband ever who happily had major parenting duties for the better part of the weekend and kept telling me over and over again to 'just enjoy myself.' I am very lucky.
