Hospital

We are officially hospital residents. At my appt with dr. Owen this afternoon, we were totally prepared with all these questions, as well as my final "I can't take this anymore" plea.

Turns out, it wasn't needed. He walked in, looked at me, and told me it was time.

It's a relief, even though I already miss my Thomas terribly.

Omy mom is on the way up right now, Darlene has T at our house, BT is with me, and dad comes tomorrow night. BT's dadvwill be here Friday.

I've already had two and a half liters of fluid drained from my stomach (the most painful thing that I wasn't expecting). And the plan is to do the equivalent amount tomorrow.

They're testing Kathryn's lung maturity with the fluid and we should hear those results tomorrow. We do get the inclination though that regardless of the results, Kathryn may end up
being a Friday the 13th baby. She's proven herself tough enough so far, I think she can handle a little sUperstition as well :-)

Please keep the prayers coming. They Work.

Matthew 15:28
Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

I just saw your update on the Hydrops FB page and checked out your blog. We delivered our hydrops miracle 7/21/09. I did not have the benefit of knowing what was going on prior to my day of delivery. I had no idea WHY I felt so terrible- I kept Sierra was determined to break my ribs--and when they told me I was delivering my baby THAT DAY because of hyrdops I had no idea what hydrops even was!!!

We will pray for you!!! Someone sent me K-Loves Encouraging Word for the day on
Friday 7/31/2009 (Sierra was 10 days old). It became OUR VERSE!!!! Here it is- may you find comfort in it as well---

Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.

We created a CarePage at Cincinnati Children's Hospital if you are ever interested in reading our ordeal. It doesn't start at the beginning because our worlds were ROCKED. Remember we heard "you're delivering a very sick baby today" That was my preperation.

Again, we will pray!!!
