May 13, 2011

Today's the day. It's Friday the 13th and storms are brewing outside. The c section is scheduled for about 2pm.

We are hopeful, patient, scared, and full of love and gratitude for all the prayers, calla, texts, emails, and messages from friends and family all over the WORLD, some ofwhich we don't even known.

When I was nine years old, we had been waiting on my brother from the adoption agency for what seemed like years. In my childish brain and heart, I didn't know why God wasn't giving me what I wanted. I prayed to him that night and told God if He were real, He'd give me a brother or sister.

Two days later, we got a call from the adoption agency saying Myles was on his way to us.

I was baptized shortly thereafter.

If there's one thing I've learned, itsthat ourGod LOVES tosurprise us.

We're looking for the most joyous surprise of our life today.

Thanks for praying.

Look for the most up to date updates on Facebook this morning.
