Do You Listen To...

The Avett Brothers?

BT got me onto them about a year ago.

They NEVER get old to me. They're a mixture of wonderful sonwriting, folk, a little country, and soul. I wouldn't tell you to listen to them unless they were that good. Their songs make you feel a little more alive inside.

I say that because I hadn't listened to them in a while and turned them on today. It was sort of like, 'hello old friend, i've missed you..."

Do me a favor. Listen to them one day when you're cooking in the kitchen with the sunlight streaming through the windows.

And tell me if you don't feel it.

Especially when I think of my favorite lyric of theirs:

"Always remember there was nothing worth sharing like the love that let us share our name..."

On that note, I had a good meal with my parents and husband and son tonight. We had a great time. Thomas didn't go to bed until 8 tonight because of it though! Here's hoping he's not up at 4am because of it. That seems like something he'd do.

More fun tomorrow!
