Weekend

Great weekend over here!

Friday night, Aunt Darlene was SO WONDERFUL to come over and keep Thomas for me and BT to go out on a little date night. We went to dinner, then went to a party at a friend's house for a while. We kept saying how nice it was to be out "at night." It had been a while since we had been out after the sun was down :)

Saturday morning, we packed up the car and headed down to Montgomery for the day. I went and met Mally and Josh at Dillards for them to get registered for their wedding, and while I was doing that, BT and Thomas were over at his parents' house with them and his sister and Thomas' cousins. I went over there once I was done and we got back to Birmingham around 5.

Today has been a nice relaxing day. We did our grocery shopping and had great playtime with Thomas. BT also let me take a TWO HOUR nap this afternoon! When I woke up I gave him some time off to take a nap as well and I took Thomas over to Wal-Mart to get a few much needed items.

We've been using the fisher price booster seat for his 'high chair,' and while it's great, I really just wanted a regular high chair for use at home. I didn't like how I had to lean down at an angle to feed him while I was sitting and he was in the booster seat. I love the new chair so much better! Plus this particular chair folds up flat next to nothing, so it's even great for travelling.

I also got him a new bathtub. He's sitting so well now, but I still don't feel totally comfortable having him in the big bath without anything. So I found this great inflatable ducky bath, and it's PERFECT! He LOVED it. I tried to explain to Thomas that he had a framework duck thing going on (like how a framework story is a story within a story, he had a duck within a duck), but he didn't seem to appreciate my humor.

Now we're watching MTV movie awards and getting ready to start our week!
