When I was a baby, I had a MEAN case of Roseola. In fact, if memory serves me correct (or the memory of what my parents told me) I ended up in the hospital, and with febrile seizures from the high fever.
Roseola is a virus that causes a moderate to high fever for approximately three days (102 Friday, 103 Saturday, and 104 Sunday), then after the fever stabilizes and goes away, a rash appears on the baby's trunk.
Thomas' fever broke sometime overnight, early Monday morning.
This afternoon, when I was changing his clothes, guess what was there?
Yup, a rash covering his stomach and back.
The nurse said it's highly likely. But we are going to check it in the morning. I think I'm going to take him in for the doctor to confirm the diagnosis just in case, but it sounds like that to me!
I've been saying it since Saturday... :-)
And you all make fun of me for being a hypochondriac.
