We couldn't have asked for a prettier day for T's birthday party. It was sunny, clear, and a gorgeous 78 degrees outside. I think everyone had a great time playing in the park, eating some lunch, and just hanging out together. Thomas, though, is the one we were there to enjoy, and he had a blast. I do have to say though, I think his favorite part was playing with the ice in the coolers and eating as much of it as he could. We went to a birthday party a few weeks ago and he did the same thing! Maybe when we reach our wit's end at home, we just pull out a cooler with some ice in it.... ;-)
Here's a sampling of pictures from the perfect day!

What a wonderful day. Thanks to all our family and friends for making it SO special. To say I was exhausted last night was an understatement. I was ASLEEP by 8:30. Also, I was so very grateful to have Cheryl here from Baltimore to help me. She came to be a guest all weekend and cooked dinner for me Friday night, helped stuff party favor bags, helped run errands with me Saturday morning, load cars, schlep stuff, and handled all the setup and breakdown at the park so I could enjoy it. Thank you SO VERY MUCH. I think it's so cruel that we live so far from each other, but I am very thankful for Southwest and their cheap nonstop direct flights :-)
Also, I am very thankful for Amber and her family. Do you know they drove over from Georgia, a two hour drive, just for the party? That's a good friend. And it's always good to see her adorable boys. I'm glad we were able to run them ragged for you :)
