Fall

No other way to put it.  I just love fall weather.  I love summer too, but it's just so hot, and fall is like the best parts of summer without the roaches and the moths.

Yesterday afternoon, after I picked up Thomas from school, we went out to the backyard.  We've been doing it every afternoon, to get some fresh air and play with Beau.  Thomas simply loves that dog.  But I don't let him down much.  I can't say our backyard is very kid friendly.  It's big, but we have about twenty pine trees back there, which means zero grass, only pine straw, pine cones, sticks, and ivy.  It's in its natural state, to say the least.  But I let him down yesterday, and he did great!  Here's our little guy earning his nature badge :-)

This kid makes me smile each and every day....
