January 2010 marked your first New Year's Celebration! We rang in the New Year together as a family and enjoyed a relaxing New Year's Day complete with Hoppin Johns as always. You started school the Monday after New Year's. I was so nervous for you to start school, but I was also really excited to get back to work and a routine. Your mom loves to work, and she LOVES routines. You did GREAT at school!
However, two weeks in at school, you got sick with the nasty RSV bug! That kept you out for an entire week. I was secretly a little happy to have some more time at home with you :) I didn't realize how much I would miss being with you during the days. But you have continued to flourish in school and I believe it's making you into a really well adjusted, SUPER SOCIAL kid, and I love that.
January also marked your first trip down to Mobile! We went down there for the weekend to celebrate my birthday, and you got in lots of great time with GG and Doc, and got to see Miss Jessica again, and finally meet your good buddy Luke! When we were in Mobile, your grandparents kept you one night so we could go out with our great friends for a much needed date night too!
Oh, we also got another snow day in January! In just three short months of life, you got to see more snow than we had seen in quite a few years!
