Happy Easter

Since I'm supposed to be resting, Easter is a little different for us this year.  No church service, no family.  Ben was supposed to come up, but since he's feeling under the weather, he didn't want to spread any sickness.  We already miss him!  So here are some pictures from our morning with Thomas.  I had to get him dressed up in what BT calls his "sissy outfit" that my mom and I picked out.  It's completely gorgeous and probably the only year I'll feel like I can get away with doing this.  Next year, I've been informed, he'll be wearing a proper suit :-)

It's also my Grandmother's 91st birthday, and this day is a little sad for me because I always do everything I can to be in Mobile to celebrate with her (also my aunt Darlene's birthday today too).  But sadly, this year, it just wasn't in the cards.  The doctor cancelled those plans for me two weeks ago when she told me NO travelling. 

But to be honest, it's been a beautiful morning.  Of celebrating loved ones, celebrating the reason for Easter, and reminding ourselves that we are here and we can face tomorrow because He lives.
