Tuesday

Turned into a busy day today. I went into work for a couple of hours this morning then went to lunch with my boss (have i mentioned I have the best boss ever?), then after that BT and I met at Brookwood to talk to a neonatologist there. We're trying to gather as much information on Kathryn's care regardless of what hospital we deliver at, and since I'm still under regular (twice weekly) prenatal care with my doctor over there, she set it up.

I managed to catch a nap this afternoon since I didn't sleep last night. I am able to fall asleep easily but staying asleep is another thing. Last night I was up from one thirty until I finally fell back asleep at five thirty. Too much on my mind, I guess.

I am so grateful to have the distraction named Thomas. He is making sure we keep laughing. He's so very good at that.

Tomorrow I go in for yet another non-stress test followed by the first round of steroid shots to mature baby Kathryn's lungs.

Even still, among all of this, I look at my son and my husband, and I talk to my family and my friends, and I feel so very blessed beyond measure.
