Providing

We're headed to Montgomery for the day tomorrow.  Just for the day though, which is a bummer, since I have a couple of dear friends (old and new) that I would love to spend some time just sitting and talking with there (Anna & Kelly, I am referring to you ;-).

But it's a day for Thomas to be with his cousins and for us to see sister, brother-in-law, nephews, and Ben.

I am almost feeling a little TOO busy right now.  I've made it a point to keep myself going and going, in and out of town, and now, I am finally, thank God, wanting to sit still.  So I'm glad we will just be HOME on Sunday, on Father's Day.  Words can't quite describe what I'm feeling about Father's Day this year.  I've been so blessed with my daddo, as well as my father-in-law, through this whole process.  But I'm feeling ESPECIALLY blessed this year and over the top, no words can capture grateful for the father of my children.

But more on that on Sunday.

I have had a much better week since Monday's meltdown.  I feel calmer, at peace.

I've been thinking and praying alot for God to show me people who have been through similar situations (the loss of a child---we don't wear name tags, you know :).  And just yesterday, my path crossed with THREE of them in their own special way.

First, a friend of mine told me she wanted to introduce me to a friend of hers who lost her twin babies at delivery....

Second, a long time friend of mine from one of our agencies at work, who did not know the story of what happened, called yesterday, and we cried on the phone together, as she lost her son last year at the age of thirty....

And when I got home, I had a three page letter from a woman in Arkansas, a friend of BT's grandparents, sharing her story of her 2nd of three children that she lost, a little boy, at 3 months old back in the 1960's....

All of these interactions, all in one day, ALL after one prayer....

God is good, and He provides for our needs, even in the midst of pain.

MM, Thanks for sharing God's provision that met your needs so perfectly!!
We invite God into the "process" and he joins us! I LOVE when this
happens.
Answered prayer brings such joy!
